November TBR | Books I Want to Read This Month

If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have seen the video I posted in my stories about not making a TBR for November. I have decided to give myself some flexibility with my TBR this month. I am a mood reader, so very rarely do I stick to the exact TBR I have set for myself anyway. However, I felt so pressured to stick to my TBR because of readathons, and as a result, I did not enjoy some of my reads as much. I have a general idea of some books that I want to read this month, but I am not going to hold myself to that if I am not in the mood for it. I do need to read at least one of the books I received from publishers last month, so I will be making that a priority.

Blogoween 2018 | Spookathon TBR

There are three readathons happening next week, and I am attempting to take part in all of them! I have been waiting for Spookathon since I joined the bookish community this year. Spookathon is a week long readathon for reading all the thrillers and spooky books. It takes place October 15-21 this year. Then I discovered that Dewey’s 24 Hour readathon is happening on October 20 and the 8 in Boo Mini Readathon is happening October 19-20. Since I can’t decide, I will be attempting to participate in all three readathons and committing to reading as much as possible next week!

October TBR | Books I Want to Read This Month

Hello, fellow readers! It is time to update my TBR for another month! We have made it to my favorite month of the year: October! I plan to read alllll the spooky books this month (and watch all my favorite scary movies!). I am trying to read books that I own right now, but I do have one book from the library that I need to read before it is due back.

I will be participating in Spookathon this month as well! Two of the books on my October TBR meet the five challenges for this readathon, so I plan to join in on the fun this year! Today’s post is also my first post for the Blogoween challenge!

September TBR | Books I Want to Read This Month

Hello, fellow readers! It is time to update my TBR for another month! September is finally here, which means cooler weather and Halloween is coming soon! I will be participating in the #ReadWhatYouOwn challenge from @anovelfamily on Instagram. You can join in by committing to read two books you already own in September or read only books you already own in September. I will be mostly reading only books I own (including ARCs I am behind on) except for the two books I have on reserve at the library. Seriously, one has been on reserve since July 31 and I’m #1 in line, so if it finally comes through in September, I am reading that book!

August TBR | Books I Want to Read This Month

Hello, fellow readers! It is time for my August TBR post! I can’t believe it is already the eighth month of the year, which is one of the busiest months for me. I went back to work on August 1st after over two months off (#teacherperks), so obviously I have not been reading much the past few days.

My TBR this month is pretty small, simply because I know I won’t have alot of free time, and when I do, I will probably crash because the first month of school just about kills me! And I always get a back to school cold, but I’m popping vitamin C like no tomorrow to try and avoid it this year. So let’s talk about the books I plan to read in August!

July TBR | Books I Want to Read This Month

Hello, fellow readers! Today is the first day of July, which means it is time for a TBR post!

I do not plan to read quite as many books as I did in June, although you never know! I will be going on vacation for about a week, and I do plan to read during the car ride (9-10 hours one way!), but I don’t know how much reading will happen on the actual cruise. This month I plan to read at least seven books. Four of these I have checked out from the library so they need to be read and one is an ARC that needs to be reviewed in July. Three of the books are contemporaries, which I tend to read within one-two days max if I really like it.
