Hello, fellow readers, and Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate the holiday! Today I will be discussing a few of the books I am thankful for.
Hello, fellow readers! My favorite time of year will be here soon, and I could not let December pass without participating in Blogmas again! I will be mixing up my content with some different posts this year (because honestly, my favorite Christmas movies and songs are not going to change!).
Hello, fellow readers! I am currently working on some exciting posts coming in December and January, so I thought now would be a perfect time to catch up on my Down the TBR Hole series! Today I am evaluating 10 books on my Goodreads TBR.
So basically the idea is to clean up your Goodreads TBR because we are all guilty of adding books to Goodreads and before you know it, there are 200 books on your list and you don’t even remember what a third of them are about!
How it works:
- Go to your Goodreads want-to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Hello, fellow readers! I accidentally took a couple of weeks off from blogging. I spent my Saturday morning catching up on blog posts and reading new content, and I feel ready to come back and start posting. Today I will be doing the Book Snob Book Tag.
Hello, fellow readers! Several weeks ago, I received an email from NetGalley inviting me to read and review Lisa Jewell’s newest novel, The Family Upstairs. The synopsis was intriguing so I went for it (I would definitely not read the full synopsis if you plan to read this one though). I have a bad habit of missing publication dates for my NetGalley titles, but this book happened to fit several of the challenges for Nightmareathon, so I decided to read it then. I finished the book within 24 hours because I had to know what was going to happen!
Hello, fellow readers! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, but it is also the busiest time of the year! We all get so busy, too busy in fact, from November 1 to January 2 every year. While I do enjoy the holiday season, I also somewhat dread the never-ending list of social obligations that comes with it.
I am very much the type of person who wants their time to be “their time.” When I am not working, I want to be free to do exactly what I want. I don’t think anyone disagrees with that, but my point is, I do not have the type of personality that enjoys constant social obligations.
With that said, I know I have to set goals for myself the next two months, or else I will start to feel like my life is spinning out of control! Today I am sharing some of my personal goals for November.
