Hello, fellow readers! I really enjoyed McManus’ One of Us is Lying in 2018, so I was excited to find out she was releasing another book in 2019 called Two Can Keep a Secret. There was a bit of confusion over the title of this books because it almost sounds like a sequel, especially since the covers have the same feel to them. This is not a sequel or companion to One of Us is Lying, and I think it is the weaker book of the two.

Hello, fellow readers! I love a good supernatural movie, but I have struck out with supernatural books in the last year. I requested and was granted a copy of The Invited by Jennifer McMahon by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Hello, fellow readers! I usually do not fall for the “bookstagram hype,” but I kept seeing The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo EVERYWHERE last year. It was being raved about in the bookish community, and when I found the audiobook on scribd, I decided to give it a try, not really knowing what to expect.

February was not a great reading month. It started out strong with a tense, fast paced thriller and popular contemporary, but after those two books, I fell into a reading slump/hangover from those amazing books! Nothing compared to the first books I read in February, but I still managed to finish four books this month. Audiobooks are really helping me meet that goal right now as I finish working on National Boards and survive the stretch before testing season begins!

I don’t have that many favorites this month. I have been studying for my National Boards test, so I have been limiting TV time. I also haven’t been shopping any, so I don’t have many new things to talk about. I’m sure I will have more favorites in March because I usually got shopping during Spring Break!
Hello, fellow readers! In December, I chose No Exit by Taylor Adams as one of my books for my Book of the Month (BOTM) subscription. I finally started reading it the last day of January, and it was a wild ride!
