Hello, fellow readers! I was really hoping to turn around my reading game in April, but this month was not great! I only had one five star book and the rest were three stars. I only read four books in April and three of those were a mash up of audiobook and physical reading. There were a lot of unknowns in April, but now that I know I won’t be going back to work until August, I think I’ve finally settled in to somewhat of a routine at home. Hopefully May is a better reading month because I am excited about some challenges in my book club!
Hello, fellow readers! Unfortunately, shelter-in-place/quarantine for COVID-19 has not ended here. My state closed school for the remainder of the semester., so I am finding myself with even more time than usual on my hands! I thought I would do something useful and recommend some thriller books to help you pass the time and forget about what is going on in the world.
Note: I will be including books if they are classified as a thriller on Goodreads.
Hello, fellow readers! I decided to pick my next book from my backlist TBR shelf upstairs. I am trying to make my way through all of the books on that shelf before the end of the year so I can swap or donate those books. I decided on The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine. I ended up downloading the audiobook from my library as well.
Hello, fellow readers! I recently started using Edelweiss more and was able to get a review copy of The Return by Rachel Harrison last week from Berkley. I was in the mood for a creepy story (always!), so I had high hopes going in to this one despite the mixed reviews.
