Hello, fellow readers! I am happy to report I finally beat the reading slump in June. I finished one book in May and four books in June. Three of the five books I’ve read in the past two months were five stars, so even though my numbers aren’t impressive, I am happy with what I read.
Hello, readers! I just got home from a long weekend getaway and it is officially summer vacation! I have nine weeks of fun, sun, and lots of reading! I am working on another post and needed to clean up my TBR, so I thought, “Why not do a ‘Down the TBR Hole’ post since I haven’t done one in a couple of months?”
So basically the idea is to clean up your Goodreads TBR because we are all guilty of adding books to Goodreads and before you know it, there are 200 books on your list and you don’t even remember what a third of them are about!
How it works:
- Go to your Goodreads want-to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Hello, fellow readers! Today’s review is kind of difficult. I have been reading and listening to The Last by Hanna Jameson for probably a week and half now and just finished it.about five minutes ago. And I have SO many thoughts.
I am desperately trying to get back to my regularly schedule posts! It feels like I haven’t written a Tag Tuesday post in months. Today is the Spring Cleaning Tag. I know personally, I like to deep clean the house after winter and move all the heavy coats and blankets to upstairs closets. This tag was super fun because it relates the concept to books I have read or want to read!
Welcome back, fellow readers! Today I was catching up on YouTube videos and I was inspired by a video about movie sequels/remakes to create a post about books I want to see adapted to movies or TV series. I will admit to being a total couch potato at times and binging Netflix like a pro some days. I love to read, but honestly, I still struggle with choosing to read a book over watching TV sometimes. In any case, I have read many books in the past year that I would love to see adapted.
