Hello, fellow readers! Thanksgiving fell late this year, which means the holiday season feels just a little shorter than usual (only three weeks of shopping after Black Friday!). Today I am sharing some great last minute book ideas for yourself or the book lover in your life!

1. Book Cart
I am finally getting one of these book carts this year! Michaels had them on sale for really cheap during the week of Thanksgiving, so I picked one out as a final Christmas gift. You can snag one for $30 at Michaels here.
2. Book of the Month (BOTM) Subscription
Shameless plug-I am a BOTM affiliate, but I was a long-time subscriber before joining their affiliate program. I love BOTM because you get to pick from five books each month. You can add-on books for only $9.99 each and shipping is always free! If you don’t like the selection that month, you can skip the month and your credit rolls over to the next month without being charged again! There are some great gift specials going on right now on their website. You can also join today and get your first book for only $5 using the code “FAM5” at my link! Click here to check it out!
I receive a commission if you choose to sign-up using my link! 🙂
3. Kindle Paperwhite
I asked for a Kindle Paperwhite this year as my “big” gift. I hate to read ebooks on my iPad or iPhone. The screen starts to hurt my eyes, plus I get too distracted by all the notifications popping up. The Kindle seems like the perfect solution to all of this, plus I will enjoy having a full library of books with me when we travel!
The Kindle Paperwhite is supposed to mimic paper and be less straining on the eyes. I also love that it is waterproof (hello, summer by the pool!) and has a backlight for reading in the dark.
4. Fandom Merch
Fandom merchandise does not appeal to me because I feel too old for most of it and I just don’t have a need for the items, but plenty of readers live for fandom merch! You can find all kinds of items on etsy or at bookstores like Books-A-Million or Barnes and Noble. I do admit to perusing the Harry Potter merch from time to time, but I never buy anything. However, I always enjoy a good Harry Potter gift (especially socks!), so I know fandom merch makes a great gift!
Popular Fandom Merch Items:
– Tote Bags
Booksleeves are a genius creation for protecting books! You can find them on in a variety of stores on etsy. Most of them have a foam inner layer that helps protect books so you can just throw them in your purse, backpack, or suitcase! You can check some options out here.
I hope these are some helpful gift ideas for the bookworm in your life! Let me know in the comments if you have other great bookish gift ideas!
