Hello, fellow readers! It feels like forever since I have done a book tag for Tag Tuesday. Today I am doing the Coffee Book Tag. This one was a lot of fun, but it made me crave a latte from my favorite coffee shop!
Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into but has hardcore fans.
I haven’t read this series personally, but I’ve heard the Throne of Glass series is hard to get in to at first. But I definitely know the series has hardcore fans.
Peppermint Mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
I feel like One Day in December will be popular again when we get closer to the holidays.
Hot Chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
I am going to answer with Goosebumps for this because I don’t consider Harry Potter to be a children’s book.
Double Shot of Espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
I know I rave about this book in almost every post, but Lock Every Door by Riley Sager captivated me from start to finish!
Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
I feel like I’ve seen Miracle Creek alot in my feed lately.
That Hipster Coffee Shop: Give a book by an indie author a shoutout
This is bad but…I don’t really read indie authors.
Oops! I Accidentally Got Decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.
I really thought I would love The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. Definitely one of my most disappointing reads in 2019!
The Perfect Blend: Name a book or series that was both bitter and sweet but ultimately satisfying.
The Summer trilogy by Jenny Han! I almost didn’t finish the series because book two was so weak, but ultimately, I am happy I finished the series because I loved the conclusion of the series.
I would love to know your answer to one (or all!) of these prompts. Leave your answers in the comments!
