Hello, fellow readers! It is time for my August TBR post! I can’t believe it is already the eighth month of the year, which is one of the busiest months for me. I went back to work on August 1st after over two months off (#teacherperks), so obviously I have not been reading much the past few days.
My TBR this month is pretty small, simply because I know I won’t have alot of free time, and when I do, I will probably crash because the first month of school just about kills me! And I always get a back to school cold, but I’m popping vitamin C like no tomorrow to try and avoid it this year. So let’s talk about the books I plan to read in August!
My Personal Collection
I thought it would be fun to do a little mini TBR tag each month:
The book that has been on my TBR the longest: P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han (I actually finished this last night!) and The Chrysalis by Brendan Deneen
The book that was most recently added to my TBR: The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
A book on my TBR that everyone else has read: Definitely P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
A book on my TBR that was a recommendation: The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
The book on my TBR that I am most excited to read: Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han because I can’t wait to see how everything turns out for Lara Jean!
The book I am least likely to read this month: Honestly, I doubt I read Replica by Lauren Oliver because I have had it checked out since the week we went on the cruise, and the mood to read it has not struck me yet.
That’s it for my August TBR! Like I said, it is quite small this month, but I know I will be exhausted everyday after school and it take me several weeks to readjust to having a schedule. I love my summers off, but they totally spoil me! Every year it gets harder and harder to go back to work, but I love my job and can’t imagine doing anything else.
Let me know your reading goals this month. What book are you most excited to read in August?
