Hello, fellow readers! Today’s Tag Tuesday post is all about my book addiction. I’ll admit, I’m not as addicted as some people, but I do consider myself quite the book addict.
Hello, fellow readers! Last summer, I binged Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy. I desperately wanted more from those characters, but there are no more books. Instead, I decided to listen to Han’s Summer trilogy, which was written before TATBILB, on Scribd.
Hello, fellow readers! Today I am reviewing a super hyped book in the bookish community. Vicious by V.E. Schwab has been on my radar for the past year, but I kept putting it off because of all the hype around the book and the sequel that released last year. I have only read two books by V.E./Victoria Schwab, but I am forever a fan after reading Vicious.
Hello, fellow readers! I have been just over a month since my last Down the TBR Hole post. I really like to do these because it helps me clean up my Goodreads account. Hopefully y’all enjoy reading them!
So basically the idea is to clean up your Goodreads TBR because we are all guilty of adding books to Goodreads and before you know it, there are 200 books on your list and you don’t even remember what a third of them are about!
How it works:
- Go to your Goodreads want-to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Hello, fellow readers! I did this tag last year right after I started my blog, so I thought I would do it again this year. It doesn’t feel like we have made it halfway through 2019, yet here we are! So far, I have read 23 books, which is just under halfway to my goal of 50 books. I still think I can catch up and finish 50 books by the end of the year!
Hello, fellow readers! I am happy to report I finally beat the reading slump in June. I finished one book in May and four books in June. Three of the five books I’ve read in the past two months were five stars, so even though my numbers aren’t impressive, I am happy with what I read.
Hello, fellow readers! Have you ever read a book because of the hype on booktube or bookstagram only to be disappointed? Today I’m talking about some of the over hyped books that I have read. Please remember that it is not a personal attack if I list one of your favorite books in this post. I am a person who is allowed to have an opinion. Feel free to comment if you wish to share why you love one of these books. I’m open to discussing these books with you!
Hello, fellow readers! Today I am talking about one of my most anticipated books of 2019. Prepare yourselves for the fangirling that is to come! Few authors are on my “automatic read” list, but Riley Sager has claimed one of those spots with his latest book, Lock Every Door.
I am so grateful to Dutton Books for sending me an electronic copy of this book to review.
I totally fell off the wagon with these posts after the first one for January and February! Honestly, this year there haven’t been as many books that I am super pumped about. I was really excited for BEA and BookCon posts from the bloggers and booktubers lucky enough to go, but even they admitted there were less hyped books this year than in the past.
Hello, fellow readers! I was sent a surprise copy of A Nearly Normal Family from Celadon Books a month or so ago. I was unaware that the book was coming or that it even existed. I started seeing some buzz for the book after it was released as a June pick for Book of the Month. People were raving about it, so I decided to jump right in to my copy a little earlier than I anticipated. I am so grateful to Celadon Books for sending this hidden gem my way!
